Candice Corcione Memorial Fund
Honoring a fearless leader, trusted mentor and devoted champion of the Tolland County community. Her legacy lives on
A life devoted to connection and community
Candice Corcione served as Executive Director of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce and remained a valued member of its Board of Directors after her retirement. She strengthened local businesses, built lasting relationships and made people feel heard, supported and welcome.
Remembered for her wisdom, humor, authenticity and generosity, Candice was a mentor to many and a friend to even more. The Memorial Fund continues the work she cared about by supporting local nonprofit organizations and scholarships, including opportunities for students pursuing careers in the medical field.
“She didn’t just lead; she fostered a genuine sense of community that extended far beyond the office walls.”
Supporting Tolland County students
Helping the next generation enter the medical field
The Candice Corcione Memorial Fund helps provide scholarships to students from Tolland County who are pursuing an education and career in a medical or healthcare-related field.
These scholarships are intended to encourage local students as they prepare for careers dedicated to caring for others. Whether they hope to become nurses, physicians, therapists, technicians, emergency medical professionals or serve in another area of healthcare, the fund helps support the next generation of compassionate medical professionals from our community.
Through these scholarships, Candice’s legacy of mentorship, encouragement and service will continue—helping young people move toward meaningful careers while strengthening the communities she cared about so deeply.
